Nueva Viscaya Mountaineering Society, Inc., with help of the Department of Tourism and Nueva Vizcaya LGU, hosts the 8th MFPI Luzon Summit this coming May 30 to June 2 at Camp AGBAPER, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

First MFPI Kids Camp

Kids Camp Banner

Announcing the first ever MFPI Kids Camp, an fun filled event aiming to engage kids aged 6 to 16 in learning basic outdoor skills through various activities such as:

Tent Pitching
Land Navigation
Shelter Building
Wall Climbing
Zip line
Group Dynamics/Games

Lectures on Leave No Trace and the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Principles will also be given.

Venue is at Kampo Trexo, Alfonso, Tagaytay (see map) on 2013 April 20-21.

Registration Fee/Kid: Php 750 is inclusive of the following:

  • Event Tshirt
  • 4 Meals(Saturday-Lunch & Dinner; Sunday(Breakfast & Lunch)
  • Camping fees( Facilitators,Materials for the Activities,Tent etc)

27th MFPI Presidents’ Meeting


The 27th MFPI President’s Meeting this year will be held in Mt. Manunggal, Balamban, Cebu on 2012 October 26-28, in cooperation with Camp Cebu, CEMS, COAT, and USC Mountaineers.

Registration fee is PhP 500, inclusive of shirt, transpo from Cebu City to basecamp and vv.


DAY 1 October 26

12:00ETD transport Participant to Base Camp @ Mt. Manunggal (no more Store at the site )
2:00pm ETA at the Base camp base . set up camp ( water , toilet , shower room available at the camp site
4:00 pm briefing for Day hike , Trekking over night , BMC

7:00 pm presentation of the clubs and RM or IM
10:00 pm lights off

DAY 2 October 27

7:00 am ETD for Day Hike a from Base Camp to Tabunan River
6-8 hrs . ETD for Trekking from base camp to Mt. Mauyog 6-7hrs camp at Tabunan
8:00 am Start BMC @ the Multi Purpose building
12:00nn break for BMC lunch time
1:00pm Resume BMC
3:00 pm ETA of day Hike Via Tabunan , ETD for trekking set Camp at Bry. Tabunan
4:00 pm Start of Skills Olympics
7:00 pm Video Presentation Per CLUB @ RM ( ALL Clubs please prepare your presentation )

DAY 3 October 28

7:00 am ETD for DAY Hike Base Camp to MT. Mauyog 6hrs , break Camp For Trekking Going to Tabunan Forrest
